Baby Shower

April 24, 2016 -- It was a beautiful spring day in Thousand Oaks, CA. The party was catered by very tasty vegetarian and vegan foods. Many of Alan and Lauren’s best friends and relatives were present. We did not know his name at this point but we knew we were waiting for the arrival of Shey Ryan D’Atri-Kass. First Birthday

June 2, 2017 -- Shey’s first birthday was celebrated on a typically overcast and cool day at Lundeen City Park in Lake Stevens, WA. It was attended by friends and relatives. The celebration continued through the long weekend with visits from grandparents from southern California. Pictures from the first birthday celebration are included in the First Year page.

The Wedding

July 8, 2017 -- Alan and Lauren (and Shey) were married on a beautiful summer day in Thousand Oaks. The weekend festival brought family and friends together for a long weekend of fun, ceremony, and related activities. Wedding pictures can be found on the Wedding page.

Second Birthday

June 2, 2018 -- His second birthday party was held at the house in Lake Stevens. The highlight of the day was bubbles. There were many bubble creation and Shey loved playing with them. Once again the celebration continued through the long weekend with all the grandparents in attendance. Pictures from this weekend are found on the Second Year page.
